Fostering an animal is a reward for both the person fostering and the animal being fostered. It helps save a life and is an enriching experience for the foster parent. Fostering gives a chance for an animal, that would otherwise not survive on its own, a place to grow and wait for the next step of finding its forever home.
Foster homes offer our rescue a chance to save more cats/kittens, because they have a place to be safe. If we have a wide range of foster homes, we are able to save more cats/kittens. Foster homes provide lots of love and structure for the cat/kittens as well as regular meals and a safe place to live. One such example of a foster is this little one named Mavis. Mavis was found in a field with a wound of unknown origin on her neck. She was about nine days old when she was found. If our rescue didn’t have a foster, we wouldn’t have been able to save her. She is now five months old and living in her forever home. This is why fostering is so important! We cannot express how important fosters are to a rescue! Thank you so much for your consideration! |
